The Marijuana Intervention Program is designed for individuals who have experienced consequences from marijuana use. This is a structured 12-week program consisting of weekly ninety-minute group sessions where participants complete homework between each session. Assignments are presented weekly to the group. The program can help clients recognize patterns of abuse and/or dependency during the process are presented with the history of marijuana. The role media plays, the addiction cycle, recovery verses abstinence and process and relapse prevention tools. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a difference in their lives. It provides support for early abstinence and offers a safe place to process thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, as well as an environment conducive to practicing new skills.
